“Dragon Hill”

Here’s another perspective from atop the White Horse.
This photo was taken as I stood just above the Horse’s
head. The raised earth in the center of the frame is Dragon
Hill, the site of Saint George’s famous serpent-slaying
business. There’s a track that leads to a bare patch
on the mound. That is where the dragon spilled its blood
and no vegetation has grown there since.
